After a bench trial on July 7, 2025, the judge decided the case in our favor and against the plaintiff, Heather Shaffer. Our lawyer has filed a motion to recover our legal fees. We are waiting on that decision. All Glory goes to God in this because it is HIS!!! God sustained us in this and my faith has increased ten-fold.

The plaintiff, Heather Shaffer, did not show the evidence to prove her claims, and the judge dismissed her claims against me. He then ordered, adjudged and decreed the case in my favor and against Heather Shaffer with prejudice and closed the case.

In our opinion, this case was never about copyright, it was about revenge. For almost two years Heather Shaffer generated almost $100,000 in legal bills pursuing what she said on the stand was $500 of damages. The damages were related to two lawyers she hired, one found on the discount forum Fiverr and another who charged her $350 and $150 respectively to file counter notifications for the DMCA’s I filed against her for using my exclusive content. Let’s not forget that Heather Shaffer did not need to hire lawyers to file counter-notifications, it is easily done using YouTube’s free tools. When you consider that in this, her “damages” were her own doing in my opinion. So, why do you think someone would pursue this case for almost 2 years to the tune of almost $100,000.00? My name is Carolyn Kavarnos and I am the creator behind the MommyRamblingsBlog YouTube Channel. Over the past four years, my family, our channel, and myself have been the target of harassment, cyberbullying, and threats. Some things that were unleashed on us were death threats, a SWAT to our home, bomb threats called into our Sheriff’s office, threatening mail, malicious striking of our YouTube channel, stalking, false welfare checks, and false CPS calls (5 in one year).

They made multiple channels with the sole intention of attacking me, my family and even community members. Some of the things they did were to expose confidential information, including addresses, body shaming, and even bullying our children. They stalked us on vacation, released the address of where we were staying, and published photos of the outside of the house with our cars in the driveway. They made videos showing the house we were staying in plus the places we were visiting. They published photos that were taken without our knowledge in order to mock and shame us.

The abuse has only grown more relentless and intrusive. The unexpected loss of my oldest son and best friend is their weapon of choice that is used to harass me. They lie about how my son died. This includes making fake videos they pretend were made by family members to enforce their false narrative. They are looking to cause as much pain and suffering as possible to a grieving family.

My YouTube channel is not a hobby, it is my career and the source of income my family depends on. The cyber-harassers contacted my sponsors and lied about me. They have done this as brazenly as publically, defaming me in social media posts with lies that I am homophobic, a racist, the defendant in a defamation case, and more. This was all done with malicious intent to cause me the loss of my sponsors and income.

This constant abuse has taken a toll physically, emotionally, and mentally especially since it is coming on the heels of the loss of our son. They are capitalizing on this and wanting to break me. The Mommy Ramblings community is strong, and I do not know where I would be without them. Besides my family, the community was the reason I kept going. The community was somewhere I could vent and get support through this unbearable loss. It seems this community is something they also want to destroy.

We must move forward legally, and that is expensive. Their attacks have caused me to lose significant income, which I can statistically prove. We will use this money raised for a retainer and to start legal proceedings against these attackers.

My hope is that I can navigate through this triumphantly, then use the knowledge and my platform to help others. I would eventually like to start a foundation in my son’s name for this purpose. The woman leading this hate train is Natasha Cooper of Defuniak Springs, Florida. She has been attacking Mommy Ramblings Blog for years. These people on these channels all stem off of her.

These abusers beg for money for this harassment and bullying of vulnerable individuals.

They defaced Mommy Ramblings Blog’s photos. They think this kind of stuff is funny. This is abuse.

Look above at the racist term Mammy. I know someone that used this frequently on YouTube and she has a son in car racing. And check out how funny they think that racist term is. It is funny right Evie Scorpio?

A few days ago Natasha Cooper posed a threat to my son’s business. They would go berserk if someone went after their child’s yoga business. They think it is okay to attack like this. More to come. Going for a walk. I will also be live tonight dropping the truth bombs on these racist abusers.

These hate channels have no content other than making videos on Mommy Ramblings Blog, her family and her community members. They attack subscribers and minor children. They threaten to call people’s jobs and have them fired. They say people deserve to lose their income. They ridicule physical features that are unchangeable and release personal information to incite harassment..

They use language they are trying to associate with someone they hate like “mentally unstable and dangerous” and they drop links for FBI IC3 forms and incite false reporting. All the while the abusers escalate. All of this is against YouTube TOS but reports do nothing.

This channel is full of people who can’t help but tell you how proud they are to be associated with it. This is how this channel threatens Mommy Ramblings Blog:

Celebrating a year of cyber stalking and harassing Mommy Ramblings Blog.

Targeted harassment on YouTube has been going on for a long time. However, victims of this evil way to attack creators gained a victory recently. A former BBC presenter named Alex Belfield has been sentenced to 5 and a half years for stalking Former BBC presenter jailed for stalking Jeremy Vine and three others.

Alex Belfield stalked his victims from his computer chair through his YouTube channel. He made videos and posts about his victims and he encouraged his audience to target them as well.

The judge told the court that one of Belfield’s victims, Bernard Spedding, came close to ending his life. Spedding dealt with Belfield’s harassment for nine years which included receiving death threats from Belfield’s followers.

The judge, Justice Saini, addressed Alex Belfield in court saying, “He (Bernard Spedding) was seconds away from taking his own life as a result of your conduct. You made this highly successful and confident radio presenter lose all joy in life and turned him into a shell.”

Justice Saini explained that even though Alex Belfield did not physically stalk or watch his victims, the effects were just as damaging to them. The judge was in agreement with witnesses who said Belfield weaponized the Internet and said, “Your methods were, just as effective as a way of intimidating your victims, and were in many ways much harder to deal with.”

This is very exciting news for those of us who are victims of targeted harassment and stalking on YouTube.
