They say the third time is a charm. The trifecta of arrests of Fotis Dulos, ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis and friend and former civil attorney of Fotis, Kent Mawhinney , are also the third arrest for both Fotis and Michelle connected to the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos.
Jennifer and Fotis were married for almost 14 years and share 5 children. Jennifer filed for divorce a couple of years back, and it was far from amicable. Jennifer was granted sole custody and Fotis has supervised visitation of the children.
Jennifer had expressed her fear that Fotis would one day do something to harm her prior to going missing on May 24th after dropping off her children at school in New Canaan, Connecticut in the spring of 2019.
From the start, Fotis and his then girlfriend Michelle Troconis were strongly suspected after being observed driving around a seedy area in Hartford. The pair was seen driving Fotis’ Ford Raptor throwing garbage bags and other items into garbage containers and storm drains. They were both arrested in June and September 2019 related to their actions. Both were on house arrest at the time of their third arrest this week.
Now, Fotis’ former civil attorney and friend, Kent Mawhinney was also arrested and charged with Conspiracy in the murder of Jennifer Dulos. Michelle is also charged with conspiracy while Fotis Dulos is charged with murder, felony murder and kidnapping.
